Jeff and Tavia's Wedding

Just 2 days after we arrived home from Arizona, we packed up again and headed over to the Tri-Cities for a wedding. It was the wedding of Jeff, Colin's best childhood friend and Colin was a groomsman. Omi and Grandpa (Pete and Konni) met us there to enjoy all the festivities as well. The wedding was at the hotel that we stayed at, right on the Columbia River with a great grassy area and an even better park for the kids to play at. The weather was great and the girls loved dancing the night away...

Arizona 2009!

We had another great trip to Arizona. This year my parents have their own house and own POOL. I can't even tell you how nice it is to go on vacation with kids and not have to worry about hotel rooms, eating out, nap and bed times... I think for a young family, it has been the best. The pool was awesome. Both girls had a blast swimming their little hearts out every day, and in turn they both took great naps and went to bed early, which was great for the parents! We look forward to many trips back in the future! Thanks Grandma and Papa! We all had a blast!!

We took the girls on a few rides around the complex. Regen just giggled and Claire kept yelling "faster Daddy, faster!!"

We had one cold rainy day, so we took that opportunity to check out the Children's museum in Phoenix. It was a pretty fun one, although it was a rainy Saturday in Phoenix, during spring break, so you can imagine how crowded it was!!


The "noodle forest" was a hit with both kids.. and Papa too. If you look closely Papa looks like a scary old man stalking Regen.. ha ha. We have gotten some real good laughs from this picture!

Both girls are "water babies". Regen surprises us every time on how good of a little swimmer she is. By the end of the week, she could swim unassisted the whole length of the pool and back. Claire started the week a little timid of the water, but by the last few days she was a pro at putting her head under water and looking at everyone. She would pop back up and hardly take a breath before she would say "again!!".

We hope that everyone is enjoying Easter Sunday. The girls had fun yesterday decorating Easter Eggs and a great time today finding all the stuff the Easter Bunny left for them...then it was straight into the pool!

It's a BOY!!

Ok, so I have to admit Colin and I are both in a little bit of shock. We were both pretty certain that we were having another girl..which to us seemed pretty easy. We have all the clothes, the room is ready, we have more than enough girl toys...and NOW it feels like we are brand new parents and this is all NEW. We have nothing for a boy, let alone the knowledge on how to raise one! The little guy is as healthy as he could possibly be in there, which we are very thankful for... just give us a day or two to let the shock wear off. :) I know Colin will love to have a break of playing princess polly pockets and play leggos instead. I am looking forward to hopefully experiencing that special bond between a mother and son.. or so I hear. :) Regen needs a few days to adjust too. She keeps telling me that she is NOT EXCITED to have a little brother ONLY a sister. Claire, although I am not sure she really gets it, seems pretty happy it is a boy. Here are some pictures of the little guy. We can't wait to meet him.

Claire Turned Two!!

Yesterday was quite the day. It was Claire's 2nd Birthday. We had a small party for her and Thank GOODNESS the sun came out and the kiddo's could play outside for a bit and really burn some energy. I still can't believe that I am a mother to a 2 year old and a 4.5 year old.... and pretty soon another one. Happy 2nd Birthday my sweet little girl.

Thought I would post some pics of the belly with the girls too.. just for old time sake. I am trying really hard to enjoy this pregnancy, and the 'miracle' of it all, since I know this will be the last. It is hard sometimes, but I'm trying....

Almost Caught Up... (February Edition)

Whew, I am finally caught up. Hopefully I can stay on top of the posting from now on.. at least until baby #3 comes. I can pretty much guarantee that I will fall behind then.

I was very lucky to be able to have a girls weekend in Seattle with my 3 best friends before all these babies come around. We got pedicures, ate a great dinner and desert, shopped and stayed at a hotel in the city. We had a great time and it was a much needed break!

We have had an amazingly nice February. I am getting a little too used to the nice sunny days where the kids can play outside for a couple hours and exhaust themselves into taking a great afternoon nap. The rain started again today.. and I am sure the rest of March will be the typical February!

Both girls favorite thing to do is ride their bike and scooter.





This is a video of Claire riding her scooter. She has discovered that she can move pretty dang quick down the little hill in the back yard. She finally learned how to stop herself with the toes of her shoes, but before she was slamming herself into the gate.


Another favorite thing to do is dancing (and dress-up) Both girls have some pretty entertaining moves, but right now Claire's are the funniest.. probably because she doesn't think she is being funny. Regen is a little entertainer and 'knows' she is being funny!

This is the best video I could get with Claire dancing. Whenever she sees the camera on her, she just spins in circles. You can kind of see her little side bum wiggle and head nodding. It is hilarious to watch in person.



Omi made the girls Mermaid Nightgowns which have been a huge hit. I think Regen would wear hers every night if she could. Claire's is just used for dress-up right now until she learns to keep a blanket on herself at night. Thanks Omi!!




Happy Valentines Day!!
Regen and I made a cake and Jello Jigglers for our special Valentines dinner. We also got a heart-shaped Pizza and drank strawberry milk. It was a pretty exciting evening for the Worsley Family!









We got the Wii!
Well, I am eating my words. I have said in the past that we will NEVER have a game console, but then the Wii came out and I changed my mind. So far me, Colin, and Regen have been having a lot of fun playing the sport games and using the Wii Fit. I think sometimes I get a better work out laughing at the person playing than actually doing it myself (ie. Colin doing the hula hoop). I have been asked by a number of people to get this on video to post. I will try, but I will have to be sneaky!
