The Nutrcracker

We took Regen to the Nutcracker for the first time today. She has been really getting into dancing and will be starting ballet classes soon. She did well for her first time. It was a great performance. Her favorite's were of course the Snowflakes and the Sugar Plum Fairies. Any time there were lots of girls in poofy skirts dancing around she was fully engaged.

Thanks Nona and Omi, we had a great time!

Claire's First Haircut

Saturday was family haircut day. This was Claire's first haircut. We decided that we were going to give Claire a little bob haircut since she is horrible about keeping anything in her hair and I am sick of fighting with her and her hair. :)

We have been having camera 'issues' the last couple of weeks and of course we forgot to bring it to the appointment, so we made an emergency trip to Walmart to get a disposable camera... thus the HORRIBLE quality of the pictures below.

Claire did pretty well during the actual haircut.. but her first lollipop doesn't hurt to calm a squirmy toddler. Regen, Colin and I also got our haircut, but I will spare you those pictures.

Trick-or-Treat

What a week! It has been non-stop Halloween fun. Regen and Claire both had parties at school and we had a fun carving night at Regen's preschool. Last night we headed out to Redmond Town Center to do a little trick-or-treating at the mall. We met up with cousin Trent and our friends the Doehne's. Fun and candy was had by all. Here are pictures of our busy week.


Colin out-did himself again this year with a pretty amazing carving of Ariel. The years to come should be interesting to see if he can keep up with the carvings.

Regen was brave this year and actually stuck her hand into the pumpkin (although she complained the whole time about how stinky it was)
