It had been a year since we had gone to Chelan. We didn't make it last winter due to horribly bad rain and a new baby, so we were looking forward all summer to our long weekend there. Omi and Grandpa came here early and took both girls back to their house to play for a few days before we came out. They had a great time playing ALONE with their grandparents and of course getting spoiled!
This was one of Omi's great summer finds. I kept getting the giggles when Claire would put it on and say "Luke, I am your father" It has a little voice changer and it looks and sounds hilarious when the girls walk around with it on.
We usually go during our birthday's and it was the same this year. Regen and Claire helped Omi make a birthday cake.

We headed to Blueberry hills farm for breakfast and berry picking like usual, but by the time we got there, stood in line, ate breakfast with 3 kids it was close to 100degrees outside, so we picked a few and bought the rest. :)
Colin took the girls down a few times to play in the pool. I took Chase in once, but he was NOT having it, so Chase and I went shopping while the girls played. It was a win-win.
We headed to the slide-waters again this year. We left Chase at the house with Omi and Grandpa so we could just play with the girls. It was a lot of fun and the girls were much more adventurous than years past. We even went down the big 'adult' slides and they loved them. Next year maybe we'll be able to do the tubes.

Regen loved swimming in the lake and didn't mind the cold at all this year. She even swam by herself out to the rope and back a few times.
Chase got his hands and feet wet, but he loved riding in the water taxi.
Regen went to a winery with us while the other kids were napping. She got to have a sprite, which made her happy.

It was HOT while we were there, so we enjoyed many popsicles and play time on the deck in the shade.
We took a little walk at the river to hopefully see some salmon, but we were too late, and all we saw were yellow jackets that stung Colin which freaked out Regen...so, needless to say, we were not there too long.
